Baseus iWork3 Screen Light Bar Hits $15 on AliExpress

Baseus just made the budget screen light bar conversation even more lopsided. The iWork3, their third-generation monitor light bar, is showing up on Taobao at 103 RMB after coupons. That’s roughly $15 USD. For a light bar with CRI 95+, magnetic mounting, and USB-C power.

Why It Matters
The iWork3 ranked #2 in both “hot” and “good” categories in our latest product radar scan for screen light bars. At $15, it sits below the Yeelight base model ($18) and well under the BenQ ScreenBar Halo ($179) that dominates Western recommendation lists.
What changed from the older i-Wok models: magnetic mounting replaces the friction clamp, the CRI bumped from Ra90 to Ra95+, and the color temperature range widened. The asymmetric optics are the same proven design that keeps light off your screen and onto your desk. Baseus has been iterating on this form factor since 2020, and the third generation shows it.
Our Take
We haven’t done a full multi-week test on the iWork3 yet, so this isn’t a recommendation. But the spec sheet at this price is hard to argue with. If the CRI claim holds up under measurement, this could displace a lot of $30-50 light bars that don’t offer meaningfully more. We’ll be requesting a unit for our Best Screen Light Bars ranking update. In the meantime, if you’re considering a screen light bar and $15 is your budget, this is the one to watch.
