MCHOSE Goes All-In on Magnetic Switches for 2026

MCHOSE has fully committed to magnetic switches for 2026. Every keyboard in their current lineup – the Jet 75, Ace 68, and Ace 60 – runs Hall Effect magnetic switches. No more traditional mechanical options in their mainline products.
The Lineup
| Model | Layout | Switch | Rapid Trigger | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jet 75 | 75% | Kailh HE | 0.005mm | ~$69 |
| Ace 68 | 65% | Kailh HE | 0.01mm | ~$49 |
| Ace 60 | 60% | Kailh HE | 0.01mm | ~$39 |
The Jet 75 is the flagship. Kailh Hall Effect magnetic switches, 0.1ms latency, 0.005mm Rapid Trigger resolution, and gasket mount. It ships with an aluminum top case and per-key RGB. The Ace 68 and Ace 60 follow the same magnetic switch platform at lower price points.
Why It Matters
A year ago, Hall Effect keyboards were a niche within a niche. Wooting had the enthusiast crowd, DrunkDeer was gaining traction, and everyone else was watching. In 2026, Chinese brands like MCHOSE, Gamakay, and Royal Kludge have flooded the market with magnetic switch boards under $70.
MCHOSE dropping traditional mechanical switches entirely from their lineup is a signal. The transition from mechanical to magnetic is happening faster than anyone expected, and it’s happening at price points that make the old Cherry MX ecosystem look dated.
Spring Sale
MCHOSE is running a Spring 2026 sale on their official store. The Ace 68 is down to $44, the Ace 60 to $34. At those prices, there’s no reason to buy a traditional mechanical keyboard if you care about gaming performance at all.
Our Take
We reviewed the Ace 68 V2 and it held up well against boards twice its price. The Jet 75 looks like a meaningful step up in build quality and switch performance. We’ll be updating our keyboard comparison once we get hands-on time.
